New Favorite Moisturizer

"Since aging ive finally figured out why they talk about repairing skin barrier. Ive always heard about it and dismissed it but its a no brainer. Ive realized I cant wash my face with products that I used to in my 20s as my body is changing. I needed something less potent and abrasive and more nourishing and calming. This moisturizer is it. Ive used it for a month now and its what works with my face. My skin loves it and its almost calming and very moisturizing. I've used other dermalogica moisturizers and it seems to irritate my skin a bit, like my face didn't quite like it. This is my new all time favorite moisturizer."

Wonderful product!

"I love this product. I recently had a rosacea flare and used this religiously to help heal my skin barrier. It goes on so smooth and it was very calming to my skin. My skin was back to normal after a few days. I'm now using it first thing in the morning to keep my skin healthy looking."

Great thick moisture for dry winter months

"I really appreciate this cream for sensitive skin. It lasts a very long time and helps to hydrate, particularly over the winter time. I think that this is a great boost when you're dry and struggling to find moisture, and you only need to use a little bit each time to make an impact."

Jamie Z. (5/5)

Rich and luxurious

"I went through this stuff FAST. I didn't realize how much a little goes a long way, so go with a quarter pump rather than a full one to make it last longer. This stuff is RICH, and it is so velvety soft on my face. I slathered it on as my last step in my nightly routine, and it melted into my face all night long. When I woke up, I could instantly see/feel a difference. I loved it so much I used it every single night until it was gone. I've used the Super Rich Repair in the past and loved it, but this is so much more luxurious. It's pricey, so I may wait for a sale before buying more, but if you have dry, sensitive skin, this will make your pores look non-existent and your skin feel super soft. I can't recommend this enough."

Molly O. (5/5)

Great calming cream

"This stabilizing repair cream is wonderful, especially when my skin is extra sensitive, flaring up with redness and rashes due to pollen or whatever is causing them. This cream calms my skin down and keeps the redness down."

Debra O. (5/5)

Accidentally in love

"I bought the travel size of this when I was purchasing the awaken eye gel because I would end up saving money if I bought another $25 worth more product… Did not expect to fall in love with it. I was like “dang I chose an expensive moisturizer to fall in love with” but at that point, the damage was done! There was no going back. The texture is so so dreamy. It’s very rich, but somehow still light as well. I really can’t explain it, but the texture is everything you want out of a moisturizer but never knew you were missing until you try it. There’s no greasy feeling whatsoever, just a creamy layer of moisture. I’m someone with sensitive skin (easily prone to irritation and breakouts) so I have to be very careful of all my beauty products. This was almost instantly a no-brainer and, unfortunately for my wallet, definitely a new staple. Went back to buy the bigger version, of course. So happy I did. If you’re wondering if it’s worth the price… It really is."

Christina P. (5/5)

Love it

"Feel great on my skin, especially after sun damage or a treatment leaving my skin feeling like it needs a little extra protection. I recommend this product if you haven't used it before, the texture this thick, rich, and luscious."

Robert M. (5/5)

NO ITCH!

"I have extremely sensitive skin and have never found face moisturizer that does not make my face and eyes itch. I had a facial and the aesthitician used Dermalogica and NO ITCH. This cream is light and does not feel like it clogs at all, and NO ITCH. Amazing!"

Kris M. (5/5)

Moisturizing without feeling greasy

"This is a new product for me. I bought this to replace the discountinued Barrier Repair. They are very different, however, I like the Stabilizing Repair Cream as well. You don't need much; about a half a pump. Goes on smooth and absorbs into skin, not leaving a greasy feel. My skin feels moisturized without feeling like there is anything on it."

Jane H. (5/5)

It really works!

"I’ve used many creams in the past. All brands. This is the only one that actually works on my skin. My face is hydrated , it feels it. Very happy costumer :))"

Q&A

Does the stabilizing repair cream contain silicones?
Hello Michelle, Thank you for reaching out with your question about the ingredients—I’m happy to help clarify! This formula does not contain silicones. Stabilizing Repair Cream instead uses a blend of moisturizing and skin-conditioning ingredients like squalane, shea butter, and jojoba oil, along with soothing plant extracts. These can give a smooth, soft feel on the skin, but they are not silicone-based. If you have any other questions about ingredients or would like help finding products that meet your preferences, please let us know! Hi, Which ingredient(s) make this unsuitable for use on eyelids? Thanks
Hello Michelle, Thank you for your question, and we appreciate you reaching out for clarification. Stabilizing Repair Cream was specifically formulated to help soothe, calm, and reduce visible redness on the face. Because the skin around the eyes and eyelids is much thinner and more delicate than the rest of the face, this moisturizer was not designed or tested for use in that area. For this reason, we do not recommend applying Stabilizing Repair Cream directly on the eyelids or around the eye area. Instead, using a product that is specifically formulated and tested for the delicate eye area would be the safest and most comfortable option. If you would like, we would be happy to recommend an eye treatment that can help address your specific concerns while being gentle enough for that sensitive area. Please feel free to reach out if you have any additional questions. We’re always happy to help. Warm regards, Sandra
After you cleanse your face, can you use the stabilizing repair cream with a face oil? Also, if using the dynamic skin strengthening serum, would you apply the serum before the repair cream?
Hello Emmy, Thank you for your question! Yes, you should apply the Dynamic Skin Strengthening Serum before the Stabilizing Repair Cream, both morning and evening. As for face oils, it depends on the formulation—Dermalogica doesn’t currently have an oil meant to layer over the Stabilizing Repair Cream, so we don’t typically recommend it. During the day, be sure to follow with a mineral sunscreen, such as Invisible Physical Defense SPF 30 or Porescreen SPF 40, to protect your skin. If you’d like, we can also help you decide which one would be best for your specific skin concerns—please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at dermalogica.com/pages/contact-us. We’re here to help. Kindly, Sandra
Can u use on eye area?
Hello Ivy, Thank you for reaching out! Our stabilizing repair cream will be a moisturizer step, this would not be applied directly on the eye area, it can be applied just along the orbital bone! Please let us know if you would like specific recommendations for an eye product to use on the lids! Best, Willow, Dermalogica Professional Skin Therapist
I've heard another moisturizer is not needed with this, but can you confirm it's ideal to follow these steps: 1. Ultra calming Cleanser 2. Ultra calming Mist 3. Ultra calling Serum 4. Stabilizing repair cream
Hello Sara, Thank you for your question, and that is correct, you do not need another moisturizer since the Stabilizing Repair Cream is a moisturizer ideal for sensitive skin. And you may absolutely use these products in this order. However, for daytime use, we also highly recommend incorporating a sunscreen to help protect your skin from harmful UV rays and environmental stressors. A great option would be Invisible Physical Defense, which provides broad-spectrum protection while being gentle on the skin, or Porescreen, which not only shields your skin but also offers a sheer tint for a smoother, more even-looking complexion. If you have any questions or need further assistance with product recommendations, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at support@dermalogica.zendesk.com. We’re here to help. Kindly, Sandra
